The agenda of Hate Politics has abandoned the Religious Right Leadership in there zeal to dominate the National Political Scene namely the U.S. Presidential Race and the Office of the Presidency itself. The issues that have galvanized their voting forces now will divide them. The Lord moves in mysterious ways.
ABORTION: Over the counter "Day After" Pills that are not radically disruptive to a women's body makes Roe v. Wade MOOT. If you don't know that you are pregnant and you stop your pregnancy, then you have not committed an abortion under the law regardless of a court decision. I believe the legal term for this matter is "mens rea" the Latin for "beforehand" knowledge of one's action. If this fertilized egg is to be born, then no drug can abort what God has destined to be born.
GAY RIGHTS: Call them what you will, but the Homosexual World and the Religious World have reached the 38th Parallel. There isn't going to be anymore movement along this line for a long time. Civil Rights is here to stay in the law. Additionally, I don't think I am going to see any Gay Couple married in my Church any time soon nor do I think they will be wed on any courthouse steps very soon either due to the rash of State constitutional laws recently passed. No, hating both the sin and the sinner are over for a while. God forgive them for they know not what they do.
IMMIGRATION: The Religious Right is an Evangelical Movement that is inviting more immigrants into its churches than excluding them. However, a concerted effort on a national scale to fight immigration will alienate the next great immigration movement to America and will place the Republican Party in a minority status for a significant period of time nationally. Polls consistently find that Hispanic immigrants vote 70% to 30% for Democratic candidates. As these immigrants create families in the USA, these numerical numbers will overwhelm states like Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and New Mexico which have been regular Republican states in Presidential voting. The word must be spread throughout the entire world. Perhaps the world will come to the United States to listen first!
THE IRAQ WAR & REPUBLICAN'S MISTAKES IN OFFICE: The war in Iraq was initiated on lies to the American People, and it has been wage ineffectively by the White House and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld. The White House continues to believe that the war is going well. In direct countering behavior to the losses by the Republican Party in the mid term election, the Bush White House is sending 21, 000 combat troops to Iraq and 27,000 support troops with them. Among the voters that voted against or atleast did not participate in the midterm elections (due to the war, lobbyist scandals, Ted Haggard's scandal, Congressman Foley's Page scandal) were the Religious Right voters throughout the country. Let your "yes" answers mean "yes". Let your "no" answers mean "no". Anything else does not come from the one that has sent you. This is a reference to a command from God. It is also a command to our leaders from voters

And YOU thought YOUR LAST VOTE MEANT SOMETHING! RIGHT.....
With the last Gallup Poll reporting that nearly 70% of the American people disapproving of President Bush's handling of the Iraq War and with the past Mid Term Elections changing both Houses of Congress to Democrat Party control, President Bush 41 has bypassed the James Baker Commission Report Findings, and he has now moved to escalate our troop totals by 21,000 fighting troops, 27,000 support troops to these fighting troops (making the total 48,000 troops) and 14,000 National Guardsman will begin this surge by cutting short their battle rest period.
IN SHORT, I'M REALLY GLAD THAT WE VOTE IN THIS COUNTRY.

National Guard May Undertake Iraq Duty Early
By DAVID S. CLOUD
WASHINGTON, Feb. 21 — The Pentagon is planning to send more than 14,000 National Guard troops back to Iraq next year, shortening their time between deployments to meet the demands of President Bush’s buildup, Defense Department officials said Wednesday.
National Guard officials told state commanders in Arkansas, Indiana, Oklahoma and Ohio last month that while a final decision had not been made, units from their states that had done previous tours in Iraq and Afghanistan could be designated to return to Iraq next year between January and June, the officials said.
The unit from Oklahoma, a combat brigade with one battalion currently in Afghanistan, had not been scheduled to go back to Iraq until 2010, and brigades from the other three states not until 2009. Each brigade has about 3,500 soldiers.
The accelerated timetable illustrates the cascading effect that the White House plan to increase the number of troops in Iraq by more than 21,000 is putting on the entire Army and in particular on Reserve forces, which officers predicted would face severe challenges in recruiting, training and equipping their forces.
It also highlights the political risks of the White House’s Iraq strategy. Sending large numbers of reservists to Iraq in the middle of next year’s election campaign could drive up casualties among part-time soldiers in communities where support for the administration’s approach in Iraq is already tenuous, according to opinion polls.
A final decision on whether the additional Guard units will be required next year in Iraq will not be made for months, the officials said, and the full extent of the Guard role next year will depend on whether the situation in Iraq improves in the meantime.
It has been clear since Mr. Bush announced his plan last month that additional reservists could be required in Iraq, but the numbers and the identity of the specific units involved had not been previously disclosed.
Changing the reservists’ schedules means abandoning previous promises that they would get several years between deployments. And the acceleration means that soldiers who usually drill just once a month and for a few weeks in the summer will have to begin intensive preparations right away.
IN SHORT, I'M REALLY GLAD THAT WE VOTE IN THIS COUNTRY.

GOD BLESS THE.....REPUBLICAN FILIBUSTER??
Harken back to the days of Bill Frist, Rick Santorum, Karl Rove and Right Wing Judges, when the United States Senate Filibuster was nearly destroyed in an authoritarian parliamentary maneuver that recalled that last days of the Roman Republic. As thirteen Senators from both sides of the aisle came forward to stand as wall against the on rushing waters of dictators, the filibuster was saved at least in a very public manner. Somewhere Andrew Jackson smiled and spoke again, "One man with courage makes a majority," and Jimmy Stewart's estate received a royalty check.
But today in the New York Times, the REPUBLICAN PARTY, these same REPUBLICANS that WERE ON RECORD TO VOTE TO ABOLISH THE FILIBUSTER are NOW THE SAME REPUBLICANS USING THE FILIBUSTER TO BLOCK THE RESOLUTION TO FORCE THE PRESIDENT TO END HIS FOOLISH ESCAPADES IN IRAQ WITH 50,000 NEW TROOPS.
In a democracy, you must establish the rules of governance, obey those rules, tamper with those rules ever so carefully and with great majority consent, and never forget that money and democracy never mix.
GOD BLESS THE U.S. SENATE FILIBUSTER & DEMOCRACY
...KEEP THE MONEY GRABBERS OUT!
